Partner Programs Request for Applications FY27 - FY29

Connect for Health Colorado, Colorado's official health insurance marketplace, is accepting applications for enrollment and referral partners across the state—advancing its mission to provide customers with expert assistance to enroll in affordable health insurance. Partners help Connect for Health Colorado reach many of our strategic goals, including:

• Improving access to coverage in rural areas of Colorado
• Maximizing the number of customers who shop and enroll in the health insurance marketplace, and apply for available financial help
• Improving the ability of customers to attain and retain the right coverage for their needs

Partnership Opportunities:

• Enrollment Centers across the state offer health coverage education and enrollment assistance from a local storefront and can receive funds for marketing. These locations will also have the ability to help people on a walk-in basis. 
• Assistance Sites and Certified Application Counselor locations provide staff to support their communities with education, health insurance literacy, and the enrollment process. They do not receive commission from insurance companies. They are certified to assist with enrollment on Connect for Health Colorado’s Marketplace and Colorado Connect, and help with Health First Colorado (Colorado’s Medicaid program), and the Child Health Plan Plus (CHP+) program. Funding is available for some of these services. 
• Referral Partners are organizations that can help educate their communities about available health coverage options, applicable financial help programs, and provide referrals for health coverage enrollment.

Who May Apply:
Connect for Health Colorado welcomes applications from community-based organizations, medical facilities, associations, ranching and farming organizations, chambers of commerce, unions, state and local human service agencies, certified health insurance Brokers and Broker agencies, and other organizations that meet the criteria for selection. 

Priorities for awards include helping people understand the individual impacts of federal and state policy changes to health coverage, increasing enrollment through Connect for Health Colorado and increasing the geographic coverage of assistance.

How to Apply: 
The application is dynamic and allows organizations to apply for partnership based on their organization type, staffing, goals, and customer service capacity. New questions and tasks are displayed depending on answers to previous questions.

Based on the application, each organization will be considered for the appropriate partnership award. Connect for Health Colorado welcomes applications from any potential partner but will not accept all proposals. Live webinars are scheduled to help guide applicants through the application process. 1. Click 'Register' in the upper right corner and create an account for your organization. 
2. Click the green 'Apply' button. 
3. Click on each task and follow the instructions. Tasks may be answering questions on a form or uploading files depending on your application. After each task is completed, you will see a green button to 'Mark as Complete'. New tasks may be generated based on your application answers. Look to the left and click on additional tasks. 
4. After all tasks are completed, you will see a green button to 'Submit' your application.
